Your Donation Makes a BIG Difference! 

Corporate matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations. When an employee makes a donation, they’ll request a matching gift from their employer. The employer then makes their own donation to the nonprofit. Companies usually match donations at a 1:1 ratio, but some will match at a 2:1, 3:1, or even a 4:1 ratio. You can find out if your employer has a matching gift program by clicking here Matching Gift Search or check with your organization’s Human Resources Department.

Your donation financially supports enhanced educational opportunities for students. Any amount you are able to donate will make a difference, so we ask that you make your tax-deductible donation (Tax ID# 54-2098945) or by sending a check.

STEAM and College & Career Readiness

With your financial support, the PUSD Foundation will continue to fund a variety of college and career activities, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) and academic competitions and leadership development opportunities including:

  • Academic competitions, such as FIRST Robotics, Science Olympiad, CyberPatriot, Future Farmers of America (FFA), Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), Annual Recognition Event for District Teachers, Classified Staff and Volunteers
  • Junior Achievement (BizTown and Finance Park)
  • Level-Up Funding to Ensure Standard Experiences to Students Across the District  
  • Middle and High School College and Career Fairs
  • Districtwide Project Lead the Way Professional Development to ensure high quality experiences for all students, including leadership development outside the classroom.
