What to Know About Supporting a Family

We’re grateful to share that all of our families have been matched with donors—our community has truly stepped up in a big way this year. We are still in need of gift cards and monetary donations to support last-minute families and help cover grocery needs. Any contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference. Thank you for your continued generosity!

We have families of all sizes. You can choose the size of family you'd like to sponsor and shop for gifts from their wish list. PLAN TO GIVE	100% of all donations go to families. Poway, CA 92064 Make checks payable to: PUSD Foundation	When you click the "Make a Donation with PayPal or Credit Card" or "Make a Donation with Venmo" you'll be taken to the PUSD Foundation PayPal Donation website or the PUSD Foundation Venmo account.

About us

The Poway Unified School District Foundation and the Palomar Council PTA collaborate each year to sponsor The Giving Tree (a 501-c organization).

Each year, the schools in our district nominate families that could use some extra help over the holidays. These families fill out "wish lists" of what their children need (mainly clothes, shoes, and school supplies) and something they'd like ... maybe just one fun gift.

A small number of volunteers work tirelessly to collect, sort, and deliver the donations given in a respectful way. This allows 100% of donations to go to the families in need with no overhead costs.

The Giving Tree has successfully brightened the holidays of so many families in our school district for over two decades.
